5" Axle/Hub Upgrade:

Includes Outer CV Joints, Outer Hubs, and
Bar Upgrade.

Outer CV Joint is completely
redesigned and much larger than the Level 2 CV Joints. It is made from
4340 steel, with a unique Carbo Ausee
Tempering that gives it a very hard shell.
- The
Outer Hubs are custom, and redesigned to accept the larger CV Joints.
- The
Center Bar is manufactured from 300M steel.
- Designed to handle
900 HP at the wheels.
- This
system includes both Axle
Bars with the custom outer CV
Joints installed. All you have to do is
install your factory inner CV Joints, just like the Level
2's. A Ball & Cage design inner CV Joint is also available.
- Kit
also includes 3" ARP Wheel Studs, Inner
Boots,
Clamps, and Grease.

2005-2008 Mustang 1-Piece Driveshaft:
-
1-Piece driveshaft design, instead of factory 2-Piece design.

Weighs 23 lbs., factory 2-piece weighs 46 lbs.
- Has
normal joints at both ends.

Comes complete with a 7075-T6 aluminum plate for the rear to convert it over
from the current CV design.
- 600
HP Driveshaft:Features solid joints that are not only stronger, but will
also keep the underside of the car clean. The factory driveshaft has a grease fitting
joint, which is made to expel grease to keep it self lubricated.
- 1000
HP Driveshaft:Features a larger tube than the 600 HP version and 1350 joints.
Notes:
-
(1):For 1999 Cobra's, if you are not purchasing an Axle Upgrade that includes
Inner Joints, you must upgrade from a 28-Spline to a 31-Spline
differential. You will also need inner CV Joints from a 2003-2004 Cobra.

(2):For 2001 Cobra's, if you are not purchasing an Axle Upgrade that includes
Inner Joints, you may need inner CV Joints from a 2003-2004 Cobra.
The splines between the inner CV Joint and the Axle Bars need to be 31-Spline.
Most 2001 Cobra's have 31-Splines, but some came with 28-Splines. The
only way to tell for sure is to remove a half-shaft, remove the inner CV
Joint, and count the splines.

(3):Open ended lug nuts are recommended due to the 3" ARP wheels studs that
are included. The only other option is to cut the ARP wheel studs down
to the length of the factory wheel studs. Factory wheel studs can not be
used, as the wheel stud holes in the outer hub are much larger in diameter, to
accept the knurled, "press-in" section of the ARP wheel studs. We also
recommend purchasing a pair of Ford outer hub bearings. If you do not,
you will have to "press" your factory outer hub bearings off of your factory
hubs, which typically results in damaging or ruining the bearings.
